Fill out this form in order to apply for Uppsala University's tuition fee scholarships, for students starting a Master's programme in the autumn 2024. For information regarding the application and our scholarships, please visit our website.

You must state the correct application number from University Admissions, otherwise your scholarship application will not be considered. When you submitted your application on University Admissions, it was assigned a unique application number of 8 digits. Log in to your account at www.universityadmissions.se and go to 'Application' and you will find your application number there.

Scholarships

Choose one or more of the following scholarships to apply for (in no order of preference):

The King Carl Gustaf Scholarship – Open to Citizens of The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Mexico, Myanmar, Philippines, South Africa, Sudan, Ukraine and Yemen

Anders Wall's Scholarship for Studies at Uppsala University – Open to citizens of a country in Africa

Motivational statement

Explain your reasons for applying for a scholarship, and why your academic experience and achievements make you a suitable scholarship recipient. Describe how the field of study will relate to your educational and career goals, and explain why studying at Uppsala University is the best way to accomplish them. If you have applied for the King Carl Gustaf Scholarship you should also mention how your studies are negatively affected by political conflicts or natural disasters.

Write a motivational statement, less than 350 words

Supporting documentation

You do not need to submit any extra supporting documents in the scholarship application, but please make sure that your passport is uploaded at University Admissions. The scholarship assessment is based on your submitted documents for your Master's programme application on University Admissions and the written motivational statement in this scholarship application form.

Make changes to your scholarship application

It is not possible to go back and change the scholarship application once it is submitted. If you want to make changes to your application, you have to fill in and submit a new online form. The most recent application will be considered your final version.
