Multiperson activities

Scientific panel: A scientific panel consists of a group of individuals who submit their paper proposals together. During a scientific panel, each participant presents their paper and there should be enough time and opportunity for discussion. We invite scientific panel proposals with a maximum of five participants, including one Chair and at least one discussant. When needed, the option is available for the AMC to appoint a discussant for your session.

Workshop: A workshop consists of a group of individuals who, guided by the session Chair, exchange information and ideas on a topic. Workshops do not include formal paper presentations, and they can be open to the general public or by invitation only. For a workshop proposal, please include in the abstract a rough estimate of the number of participants you expect and if possible, who they are.

Roundtable: A roundtable consists of a set of very short presentations from the participants around one topic, allowing for ample discussion between them and the audience, guided by the session Chair. We invite scientific panel proposals with a maximum of six participants, including one Chair.
