Welcome to apply for the participation in the ESD Science Lab 2022 for BUP Teachers - a project initiated by Uppsala University, Åbo Akademi University and Riga Technical University. The project is focusing on those who are teaching at a BUP affiliated university, have participated in a BUP Change Project Course (or have developed and tested ESD approaches) and want to publish work in a respected journal.

ESD Science Lab is a series of educational and research coaching events, a platform for joint research focused on ESD methods and change project approach BUP teachers use in their practice, as well as capacity building needed to make the research work of high quality. The objective of the Laboratory is to strengthen the skills and knowledge of BUP researchers in publishing scientific research findings in peer-reviewed journals.

As a main immediate output, we expect to commonly prepare at least 5 research concept notes (manuscripts) from 25 selected BUP teachers for further development towards publication until December 2022.

Main project events
Kick-off meeting 20-21 June (online format, 2 hours per day)
Summer school in Riga, 25-26 August (2 days).
The participation fee, accommodation and meals are covered by the project. The travel costs are not covered.
