Nominate for the Uppsala University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award 2023

Thank you for nominating a candidate for the Uppsala University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award!

Your nomination is the first and most important step in the process of selecting a recipient. Please put a little extra effort into your statement of reasons, as this is the most important factor in selecting the recipient.

The following criteria should be the basis of the nomination:
• The recipient should have made a crucial contribution to the successful commercialisation or implementation of a discovery or innovation based on research or education at Uppsala University, with considerable benefit to society.
• The recipient should have helped to create a new viable enterprise through their entrepreneurial efforts, and recently have been active in its growth and success.
• The recipient should be or have been a student, active as a researcher or employee, or in some other way have a strong connection to the University.

The nomination period will close on 30 November 2022.

Whom would you like to nominate for the Uppsala University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award?

The award can be shared between up to three recipients a year, provided they have all contributed to the same entrepreneurial achievement. Should you wish to nominate several people for different entrepreneurial achievements, we kindly ask you to make separate nominations.

Statement of reasons

The statement of reasons is the most important tool in the selection process. Therefore, it is of great importance to include our top criteria:
• How the nominee(s) have contributed to the successful commercialisation or implementation of a discovery or innovation based on research or education at Uppsala University, with considerable benefit to society.
• How the nominee(s)’ entrepreneurial efforts have contributed to a viable enterprise.
• How the nominee(s) have been recently involved in the enterprise’s growth and success.
